Craig T Welsh: Welcome. This blog contains my study and research trajectories during the course of my architectural development. At present I am currently employed as an Architectural Assistant [Part II] in Manchester [UK], having completed my BA[Hons] Architecture and BArch studies at the Manchester School of Architecture [UK] in 2011.

INFLUENCES

My work and research is simultaneously process-driven, theoretically based, and is directed towards the synthesis of individual strands geared to the development of structures and landscapes that are intelligent, creative and responsive to the complex myriad of urban networks and metabolisms present within the contemporary city. Personal areas of interest include computational design, interactive architecture, ecological design and sustainability, cybernetic systems, autopoietic design, urban metabolisms, digital network culture, robotics, datascapes, info-graphics, visualisation techniques, and the concept of utopia/dystopia.
